Angela Kearney is a NYS Licensed Mental Health Counselor, NBCC’ National Certified Counselor, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, Certified Telehealth Provider and the founder of New Direction Supportive Services where we specialize in “change”. I have over a decade of experience in the psychotherapy field as well as working as a School Counselor with NYC Department of Education. My ultimate goal is to help my clients reach a point their lives where they have the ability to cope with triggers and stagnation. I love engaging with children, adolescents, and teenagers by providing guidance and socio-emotional growth as well as helping them focus on their academics and peer relationships.
My experiences range from individual, family and group counseling as well as facilitating workshops on bullying, parenting, trauma and child abuse. Our purpose is to help all individuals grown in every area of their lives. Our psychotherapist are licensed and trained in several modalities such as: CBT, trauma and solution-focused.
